<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for made-to-order commodity order-supporting capable of supporting an orderer to really place an order for a desired commodity. <P>SOLUTION: In the made-to-order commodity order-supporting system, a control circuit 23 of an orderer-side terminal 5 receives editing input of a commodity image by image handling with a mouse 27 or the like through executing a downloaded order-support program, and edits the commodity image in response to the editing input, and displays the commodity image under process of editing successively on a display device 25, and uploads the edited commodity image on a server system 3 via a communication interface 21.
