<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can decode a code stably with high reliability, especially the technique that can decode a film information code from a film information code area of photographic film, even if there are defects such as scratches, dusts, stains in a code sheet forming an information code of bar code. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: a memory 50 in which visible light image data acquired on the basis of visible light from a code sheet and infrared light image data acquired on the basis of the infrared light are developed; a defective pixel repair means 60 for repairing pixel values of defective pixel positions in the visible light image data by detecting the defective pixels from the infrared light image data on the basis of decision conditions with respect to the pixel values; and an information code decoding part 54 for decoding the information code by recognizing information code patterns from the repaired visible light image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
