PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage tank which can reduce the manufacturing cost by commonalizing members constituting a sorting mechanism which is used for the storage tank. SOLUTION: For this storage tank, the sorting mechanism 30 is constituted of an assembly of a first sorting member 40 which constitutes the downstream side of a first guiding surface 37, a second sorting member 50 which constitutes the downstream side of a second guiding surface 38, and a third sorting member 60 for which a sorting apex section 63 for sorting pachinko balls by the first guiding surface 37 and the second guiding surface 38 is formed. The storage tank is constituted in such a manner that the sorting ratio of pachinko balls may be varied by changing the position of the sorting apex section 63 to the dropping position of pachinko balls by replacing the third sorting member 60 by one having a different forming position of the sorting apex section 63. Thus, even in a case for which a plurality of sorting mechanisms 30 having different sorting ratios of pachinko balls are required, the manufacture of the overall sorting mechanism 30 is not necessary, and the sorting mechanism 30 of a sorting ratio corresponding to a pachinko island unit 1 can be formed by replacing the third sorting member 60 alone.
