The container has a lid in which an elastic seal is arranged. The seal has a sealing lip that laterally presses against a container wall in an area of an edge of the container and has a supporting wall (32). The seal has a structure that forms an equilibrium area (46) that produces large air volume. The area communicates with inside of the container and the lip is arranged under the area. A partition wall is formed above the wall (32).
