<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently carry and attach a wire harness to an assembly, such as a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A wire harness 1 is fixed to a sheet-shaped or mat-shaped base 2 by a binder 3, and in this state, the wire harness is carried to an assembly process, inclusive of the base, and the base is attached to the assembly in assembly process, inclusive of the wire harness. The base 2 is provided with at least a pair of holes 4 for threading the binder 3, and the binder is threaded into the pair of holes and the wire harness 1 is fixed to the base by the binder. When the interval L between the holes 4 in a pair is larger than the outside diameter D2 of the wire harness 1', the base 2 is provided with slits 7 from the internal end 4a of each hole, between the holes in a pair. When the outside diameter of the wire harness 1" is larger than the interval between the holes 4 in a pair, the base 2 is provided with slits 8 from the outer ends 4b of the holes in a pair.
