<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer accepting sheet which is little warped by a change in environment, free from paper jamming, double feeding or the like in a printer and excellent in printing running properties and which brings about no welding between a back coat layer and an ink ribbon and also is excellent in the running properties on the occasion of back printing. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer accepting layer has a constitution wherein an intermediate layer containing hollow particles and an image accepting layer are formed sequentially on one side of a sheetlike substrate constituted mainly of a cellulose pulp and wherein the back layer is provided on the other side of the substrate. The back layer is constituted mainly of an acrylic resin having a glass transition point (Tg) of 45°C or below and contains a resin filler having an average particle diameter of 5-22 μm. The Bekk smoothness of the surface of the back layer based on JIS P 8119 is made 100 s or below. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
