PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer bushing, adapted to achieve the simplification of structure, the weight reduction, the simplification of execution at site and the environmentally friendliness. SOLUTION: A polymer bushing, includes a conductor drawing rod 1 having a conductor insertion hole 1a, a hard insulating cylinder 2 provided at the outer circumference of the conductor drawing rod 1, and a polymer covering body 3 provided at the outer circumference of the insulating cylinder 2. The insulating cylinder 2 includes a large bore insulating cylinder 2a provided at the outer circumference of the lower area of the conductor drawing rod 1, and a small bore insulating cylinder 2b provided at the outer circumference of the part excluding the end of the conductor drawing rod 1. An embedded metal fitting 4 for use with softening electric field is embedded at the row connection arrangement portion between the large bore insulating cylinder 2a and the small bore insulating cylinder 2b. In addition, a cone-shaped receiving port 5 for receiving a stress cone 13 of a cable terminal 11 is provided at the lower end of the large bore insulating cylinder 2a, and the receiving port 5 is communicated with the conductor insertion hole 1a of the conductor drawing rod 1.
