PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a phenomenon in which an upper portion and a lower portion of an image are read differently from each photographed time, namely, an unsightly misaligned image is read, the phenomenon occurring when reading gets ahead of writing to a VRAM area or writing gets ahead of reading from the VRAM area. SOLUTION: Storage states of respective VRAM areas of a VRAM part 111 are detected, management information showing the storage states is held in a VRAM management information part 112, and on the basis of the management information held in the VRAM management information part 112, reading from and writing to the respective VRAM areas of the VRAM part 111 are controlled. For example, after writing of an image signal outputted from a signal processing circuit to one VRAM area of the VRAM part 11 is completed, a vacant VRAM area is selected as a VRAMN area to be written next.
