PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size terahertz light generator/detector which realizes a spectroscope combinable with a probe type, wand type or fluoroscopic apparatus, etc. SOLUTION: The terahertz light generator/detector has the integrated structure of a photoconductive switch type antenna with an optical waveguide. It may be integrated with a compensating element for correcting the pulse waveform of a femtosecond pulse light and a semiconductor laser being a femtosecond pulse light source. Or, generating and detecting photoconductive switch type antennas may be integrated on one board, and further an element for delaying the femtosecond pulse light may be integrated with them.
