A conveying apparatus comprising rollers that are arranged in the direction of conveying an object and in which the object is placed, wherein the rollers include first rollers and second rollers adjacent to the first rollers. Each of the first rollers has a first placement section on which the object is placed and a large diameter section having a diameter larger than that of the first placement section and guiding the object in the conveying direction. Each of the second rollers has a second placement section on which the object is placed and a small diameter section having a diameter smaller than that of the second placement section and preventing interference between the large diameter section and the second rollers.</p>
