<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having small installation space and excellent workability during paper taking-out and maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a printing unit; a support extending upward of the printing unit; an rotatable box-shaped upper case coupling a rear end on the upper part of the support; a transparent original base supported on the upper part of the upper case; an imaging part stored in the upper case and reading an original put on the original base; and a projection provided on the bottom part of the upper case, having the rear end face supported on the support by extending downward as separated from a rotation center line of the upper case, in the state in which the base face of the original base is horizontal and extending front and rear directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
