PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing means for a building, which has a high deodorizing effect and facilitating the construction. SOLUTION: A liquid or slurry deodorizing material containing titanium oxide, laminated silicate mineral, silver ions and/or copper ions, and silica is sprayed on or applied to the surface of the wall, floor and/or ceiling of the building or the surface of an interior vinyl cloth stuck thereon. Then, the deodorizing material is naturally dried to form a thin deodorizing material layer. This deodorizing material layer effectively deodorizes the inside of the building.
