PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens eccentricity adjusting method by which the eccentricity of a lens is easily adjusted. SOLUTION: A lens eccentricity adjusting device 2 is equipped with a light source 5, a pinhole chart 6, a semi-transmissive type screen 7, 1st to 5th CCD cameras 8a to 8e and a display 9. A zoom lens device 3 is equipped with a zoom lens 4, an eccentricity adjusting part 10 and a lens barrel 11. Light illuminated from the light source 5 and transmitted through 1st to 5th pinholes 6a to 6e and a slit 6f is made incident on the zoom lens 4. The light made incident on the zoom lens 4 is transmitted through the zoom lens 4 and projected to the screen 7 as a chart image. The chart image projected to the screen 7 is picked up by the 1st to the 5th CCD cameras 8a to 8e. The picked-up chart image is displayed on 1st to 5th display areas 9a to 9e respectively. The eccentricity of the zoom lens 4 is adjusted by the eccentricity adjusting part 10 based on the image displayed on the 1st to the 5th display areas 9a to 9e. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
