PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge structure and its construction method securing a head clearance of a bridge, shortening workhours for new construction work and improvement work of the bridge, coping with a narrow working space, reducing a construction cost, having high durability and minimizing the suspension of traffic of a road or the like under the bridge. SOLUTION: In this bridge structure, the bridge is composed of an upper structure and a lower structure, and steel fitting joints of approximately C-shaped cross section are continuously provided at the lower end of the upper structure and the upper end of the lower structure.
