A connection control device capable of smoothening a line change at each node in a network system of a tree structure to quicken a reproduction, even in case a zapping is made at each node, and lightening the load on a management server. While contents distributed through one distribution tree are being received at a node (14), this node (14) is connected, when it is to receive other contents being distributed through another distribution tree, with that other distribution tree but is not withdrawn for a predetermined time period from the initial distribution tree. In case, therefore, the original contents are to be received due to the zapping, the original contents can be received without requesting a participation in the original distribution tree.
