<p>The invention relates to the general field of an Internet television broadcast system. In particular, the invention receives local television programming and then serves that programming to subscribers over the Internet. An exemplary embodiment of an Internet television broadcast system comprises a plurality of television receivers for receiving signals from a plurality of television transmitters. A processor is coupled to the television receivers and configured to selectively store television programs on a storage device and the selectively retrieve television programs from the storage device, and configured to selectively bypass the storage device. An Internet interface coupled to the processor and configured to couple to the Internet. The processor is configured to execute a program to selectively deliver requested television programs to subscribers over the Internet. Advantages of the invention include the ability to view television programs over the Internet.</p>
