PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional type piezoelectric vibration detection and suppression device capable of accommodating one point of the vibration of an object in a two-dimensional form, in view of the fact that the vibration of a body or the transmission of an automobile is largely in a multidimensional form.

SOLUTION: This two-dimensional type piezoelectric vibration detection and suppression device includes first and second band-shaped piezoelectric bodies arranged so as to be mounted on the surface of the object of which the vibration should be detected or controlled. The first and the second band-shaped piezoelectric bodies are overlapped crossing each other in the center thereof in the longitudinal direction.
