<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorine consumption amount and chlorine demand amount measuring instrument capable of acquiring data serving as the index of a chlorine agent charging amount in a short time and capable of corresponding even to a case that a chlorine demand amount changes with the elapse of time. <P>SOLUTION: The chlorine consumption amount and chlorine demand amount measuring instrument is equipped with a reaction tank T, a sample liquid introducing pump P1 for introducing a sample liquid into the reaction tank T, a titration pump TP for introducing a titration liquid containing chlorine known in its concentration into the reaction tank T, an oxidation-reduction potential detector D for measuring the oxidation-reduction potential of the liquid in the reaction tank T, and an arithmetic unit for successively inputting the amount of the titration liquid introduced by the titration pump TP and the oxidation-reduction potential detected by the oxidation-reduction potential detector D.
