PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-car display device of an elevator which is small in size, less influence on a space in a car or in a hoistway, high in visible effect to passengers by light emission, and not irregular in illuminance in a surface to display information. SOLUTION: The in-car display device 10 is mounted in a car 1 of an elevator. The in-car display device 10 comprises a light source 11 consisting of a surface-emitting device provided with a light emission surface on the face side, and an information display body 12 provided close to the light-emitting surface of the light emission surface of the surface-emitting device of the light source 11 and formed of a translucent material.
