PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a man-hour control method for bringing a real man-hour in a packing field A near to a real man-hour in a packing field B different from the packing field A. SOLUTION: According to the method, an optimum layout and optimum work procedures are found out by variously changing the layout of the packing field A. Then information found out in the packing field A is provided to the packing field B. Specifically, a distance a from a conveyor 11 to a workbench 12, a distance b from the workbench 12 to a component box 14, and a distance c from the workbench 12 to a sub-material box 16 are provided in video. In the packing field B, the layout in the field is arranged according to the model layout. In this manner, the layout in each packing field is matched with the model layout and at the same time the working procedures are carried out according to the model working procedures, and therefore the man-hour in each operator can be excellently matched with each other.
