PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning structure for packing, which exerts a sufficient cushioning effect, and can secure a wide storage space inside without upsizing a storage box. SOLUTION: The cushioning structure is formed of a pair of cushioning sections 20 having elastic deformability imparted to it at least in a thickness direction, and a storage section 30 arranged between the cushioning sections 20 and having a recessed section 33 formed so as to have a depth deeper than the thickness of each cushioning section 20.
