PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member tilting mechanism and a mirror device capable of suppressing bending of a spring plate without increasing slide resistance of a pivot part. SOLUTION: This member tilting mechanism is provided with a housing rear 3 having a recessed spherical face part 3a, a cap support 5 having a projecting spherical face part 5a, a plate pivot 4 having the pivot part 4a being a cylindrical part having circular arc cross section, the spring plate 6 for pressing the cap support 5 toward the housing rear 3 so as to tilt the plate pivot 4 while the pivot part 4a is nipped and held by the recessed spherical face part 3a and the projecting spherical face part 5a, a screw tapping 7 for fixing the spring plate 6 to the housing rear 3, and a stopper 8 fixed to the housing rear 3 to regulate deformation in the anti-pressing direction of the spring plate 6. By this configuration, the stopper 8 regulates bending of the spring plate 6 in the anti-pressing direction to prevent the plate pivot 4 from tilting in an extra manner. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
