PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone system enhancing a size of a telephone set and a degree of freedom of an installed location regardless of provision of various functions. SOLUTION: A digital wireless communication system is applied to communication between a master unit and a slave unit, and a method like a mobile phone method is adopted for operations of the slave unit so as to eliminate the operation buttons for the master unit, and the same method as that of a personal computer wireless LAN is adopted for the wireless communication system so as to allow the slave unit to act as an Internet wireless telephone set, a large capacity storage device such as a hard disk is provided to the master unit so as to record speeches for 10,000 hours or over.
