The invention concerns synthetic neutropoiesis stimulating proteins, methods for their manufacture and uses. In particular, the invention is directed to synthetic neutropoiesis stimulating proteins having the in vivo biological activity of stimulating neutrophil production in a mammal. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions and kits comprising the synthetic neutropoiesis stimulating proteins of the invention.
