<p>The release bearing has a bearing ring (1) running round it, and a standing bearing ring (2), with rollers or balls (3) between them. One bearing ring is coupled to a dish spring of the clutch via the friction surface (5) by means of a disk. The dish spring and the surface of the disk facing the bearing ring act as a friction surfaces. The friction value of the disk can be altered, at least temporarily.</p> |
