The sheet feeder (100, 100") has a feeder housing (111, 112) containing a rotating grips to pull sheets from a stack. The grips are on at least one grip shaft (220, 220', 220"). There are also several cams (331, 332) to control the sheet separating elements. These cams are on a separate camshaft, separated from the grip shaft.
