PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a in-mold foamed molded object fitted with a skin having a folded-back part integrally fused to the rear surface thereof in a state folded back and hard to peel and taking no labor even when an insert material is attached. SOLUTION: A skin material 3 is thermally molded along the cavity surface 2a of a mold 2 and this skin material 3 is integrally fushed to the surface of the in-mold foamed molded object formed within the mold by foam molding to produce an in-mold foamed molded object 1 fitted with a skin. In this method, the outer peripheral part of the skin material 3 is inwardly folded back along the folding-back mold 6 arranged so as to be inwardly projected from the opening end edge 2b of the cavity surface 2a at a time of thermal molding to form a folded-back part 7 and, after the folding-back mold is detached, one surface 7a of the folded-back part 7 is integrally fused to the rear surface of the in-mold foamed molded object at a time of foam molding and a re-folded-back part 8 in a state such that the outer peripheral part of the skin material 3 is outward re-folded back from the leading end 7c of the folded-back part 7 is pressed so as to be superposed on the other surface 7b of the folded back part 7. |
