<p>Reduction of the olfactory nuisance of malodorous organic effluents (I), comprises biodigestion of the effluents by filamentous fungus in suspended culture in the presence of oxygen (where the biodigestion comprises destructing malodorous volatile molecules (II) or their precursors and masking (II) by catalysis of the bio-formation of volatile molecules or their precursors having masking aromatic notes in the effluent). An independent claim is also included for use of a fungal strain ( Aspergillus phoenicis, Chaetomium globotosum, Galactomyces geotrichum, Mucor hiemalis, Paecilomyces variotii, Fusarium equisetii, Trichoderma viride, Penicillium chrysogenum, Trichoderma longibradriatum, Trichoderma harzianumor Aspergillus niger) for the preparation of fungal inoculums for the reduction of the olfactory nuisance of (I) by biodigestion.</p> |
