<p>The belt for a papermaking machine, especially at the stage where the pulp suspension is converted into a wet web, has an arrangement of warps and wefts forming a woven pattern. The woven pattern has at least 26 warps in each repeat. To give the structured surface on the side against the paper and the side against the machine, the warps are used alone or in combinations to give at least one basic textile weave and/or a deviation from a textile basic weave and/or an extension of a basic textile weave. The weaves are a plain fabric in tabby weave, a twill or a satin weave.</p> |
