PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the air gap in assembly or attaching condition of a rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: A stator 9 is made by winding a plurality of coils 9 around a core 9a, and a rotor 10 is provided around the stator 9. This stator 10 is made by bonding a plurality of rotor magnets 10b to a housing 10a, and at the housing 10a, a plurality of gap-measuring holes 10e are made opposite to an air gap 15. In this case, a gage 23 is inserted into the air gap 15 from the gap-measuring hole 10e in the setup condition or assembly condition of the motor 11, and based on the insertion state to the air gap 15 of the gage 23, the width dimension w of the air gap 15 can be measured. |
