A data recording/reproducing apparatus, includes: an open front housing (100) having a base frame (101) and a cover frame (103); a recording/reproducing unit (110) installed in the housing (100) to record/reproduce data in/from a predetermined recording medium; a circuit board (120) installed parallel to the recording/reproducing unit (110) in the housing (100); a front unit (130) connected to the open front of the housing (100) to support operation buttons; a first locking unit (140) which locks the front unit (130) and the recording/reproducing unit (110); and a second locking unit (150) which locks the front unit (130) and the housing (100) at a position corresponding to the circuit board (120).
