[Class 75 (ii).] In a street or like lamp one or more direc tional reflectors are detachably and hingedly attached to the circular rim of the lamp shade and are fixed in any desired angular position relative thereto by means of stay-rods of adjustable length. In the form shown, a pair of coaxial stub-axles 2 are secured by lugs 1 near the upper edge of the reflector R and carry pivoted clamps 3 for engaging the rim of the shade S. A stay-rod, comprising a turnbuckle 8 with right- and left-hand screws, is pin-jointed at one end to a stud 6 fixed near the lower edge of the reflector midway between the lugs 1 and at the other end to a clamp 10 adapted to engage the rim of the shade midway between the clamps 3. |
