[Classes 38 (i) and 53.] The carbon electrodes of dry cells for use in electric torches are provided with metal terminal caps 5 having pointed projections 6 for making contact with the zinc container 3 of an adjacent cell. The projection-may be offset from the centre of the cap, as shown, and may be pressed or punched out from the inner side of the cap or it may be in the form of a pin passing through the cap. The cap may be provided with more than one such projection. |
