<p>A disposable absorbent article constituted of a liquid-permeable surface sheet, a liquid-impermeable back- surface sheet and an absorbing mat lying between the sheets, wherein the absorbing mat comprises a sheet-like water-absorbing layer which contains a water-absorbing resin powder and is free from pulp fiber and a fiber assembly layer which contains both pulp fiber and a water- absorbing resin powder in this order from the surface sheet side and the fiber assembly layer is constituted of fiber portions containing both pulp fiber and a water -absorbing resin powder and non-fiber portions containing neither pulp fiber nor a water-absorbing resin powder which are formed in a state contiguous to each other.</p> |
