A flexible pipe capable of sustaining a shape holding power even if it is subjected to a torsional force and withstanding long-term use. The flexible pipe comprises a first pipe provided with a first auxiliary wire material tightly on the outside of a first parent wire material wound spirally such that it is fitted between the roots of the first parent wire material, and a second pipe provided with a second auxiliary wire material tightly on the outside of a second parent wire material wound spirally in the direction reverse to that of the first parent wire material such that it is fitted between the roots of the second parent wire material, wherein the second pipe is arranged in the first pipe tightly thereto. Since the second pipe generates a withstanding force when the first pipe is subjected to a torsional force in the rewinding direction, the holding force does not lower easily even if a torsional force is applied.
