FIELD: thread feeding equipment for textile machines. ^ SUBSTANCE: thread feeding apparatus has plastic casing preferably consisting of two bowl-shaped parts. Plastic fastening device is provided at machine side for connection to holder. Fastening device is formed in corresponding manner to impart required rigidity thereto and lacks metal inserts. Both casing parts are equipped with respective bearings for shaft extending therethrough. Thread feeding drum is mounted at one end of shaft and drive device, for example drive sheaves, is arranged at other end of shaft. Fastening devices are adapted for holding casing parts together in correct position thereof. In order to maintain thread feeding apparatus, casing may be readily opened. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced manufacture costs. ^ 15 cl, 14 dwg |
