FIELD: shipbuilding; ship's rigging at automatic control of sail blade in space. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed rigid automatic sail has blade and mast. To ensure preset angle of attack, sail is provided with motor-reduction gear for rotation of sail blade during operation of electric system instruments. Rigidly secured in upper part of mast are two limit switches and revolving pendant wind indicator. Two circular switches are rigidly secured to pendant wind indicator. ^ EFFECT: improved properties of sailing ships at automatic control of their rigid sails. ^ 3 dwg |
