NEW SUBSTITUTED AZETIDINONES AS ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND ANTIDEGENERATIVE AGENTS

The invention claimed is directed to specifically substituted azetidinones of formula I. These substituted azetidinones have been found to be useful anti-inflammatory and antidegenerative agents. The invention is also directed to pharmaceutical compositions and methods of using these specifically substituted azetidinones. These compounds are also useful in the treatment of certain leukemias and leukemia related conditions.
