Below the water storage vessel (1), an intermediate vessel (4) contains water and is sealed off from the surroundings. The vessels are connected by a valve. Water can only flow between them, when the storage vessel is placed in a connector (2). A line (5) below the water level in the intermediate vessel, connects it to a boiler (7), from which steam enters the respiratory gas line to a patient. A pressure equalization line (12) is connected between them. |
