The invention relates to a protective housing which consists of two or more parts and protects the wheel steering system of vehicles against an unauthorised access in order to prevent the theft thereof. The constituent elements of the housing encompass the entire steering wheel and are rigidly fixed to each other by means of locking devices. The anti-theft action of the protective case is based on the free rotation of the housing body along the circumference of the steering wheel about a steering column axis. The use of said invention makes it possible to more efficiently protect transport means with the aid of a break-resistant device.
