FIELD: environment protection, particularly to gather oil and oil products spread over water surface as a result of pipeline or tanker damage or well drilling, from water surface. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves localizing the oil pollution by installing at least one boom consisted of at least one section composed of elastic water-tight shells connected one to another in longitudinal direction; gathering and pumping-out oil product. After boom installation two elastic water-tight shells form two chambers, namely upper and lower ones. Air is injected in upper chamber, lower chamber is filled with water. Oil product is gathered from water surface and is injected into lower chamber so that lower chamber water is displaced with oil product. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency and quickness of water pool cleaning. ^ 2 dwg |
