FIELD: light industry, in particular, production of colored counters used as money substitutes, for example, in casinos and various trading and playing automatic machines. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves performing ring from mono-chromatic polymer material, said ring having recess and relief protrusions on its outer side, on its rib; pouring resultant counter blank in conjunction with metal disk through ring recess and pressing with polymer material of second color so as to produce hoop with relief protrusions, said polymer material filling gaps between ring relief protrusions; providing pouring and pressing polymer material of third color until all the gaps between relief protrusions are completely filled. According to second version, method involves producing from polymer material first ring with recess and relief protrusions; pouring polymer material of second color into first ring through its recess for producing of second ring with recess at the level of recess of first ring and with relief protrusions; placing metal disk and pouring through recess of two-colored ring polymer material of third color so as to produce hoop; pouring polymer material of fourth color into blank consisting of two-colored ring with recess, hoop and metal disk to fill-in gaps between relief protrusions.
