A spray gun reservoir has a detachable lid 110 with an oversize central opening 130 and a cap member 132 releasably connectable to the lid 110 for connecting the reservoir to a spray gun. The lid 110 is releasable from the cap member 132 such that liquid can be added to the reservoir without removing the lid 110 by means of the oversize central opening 130 in the lid 110.
