FIELD: textile industry, in particular, holding of weft thread in mixing machine of main blowing nozzle of shuttleless weaving machine, in particular, pneumatic weaving machine, before laying of weft thread into opening defined by warp threads. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves squeezing elastic part of mixing pipe by loading it using working fluid and holding weft thread in clamped state. Shuttleless weaving machine for effectuating said method is also described. Method allows amount of air needed for process to be reduced regardless of kind and quality of weft thread. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to compact arrangement of main nozzles and mixing pipes, provision for eliminating of adverse influence of clamping force upon weft yarn, and increased quality of manufactured fabric. ^ 24 cl, 5 dwg |
