FIELD: transport engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in road vehicles for adapting them for running on rails. Proposed wheel consists of hub and brake connected to hub, and disk with tire. Additional disk is installed between disk and brake drum. Profile of additional disk is identical to profile of when disk to border of its mating with tire, with subsequent change of curvature to suit side of tire. Thickness of wall of additional disk in curvilinear zone is greater than that of preceding section of profile, and its outer circular generatrix is made in form of ridge with curvilinear surface at one side for mating with side face of rail head, and at other side,.
