FIELD: transport engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed propeller shaft contains two joints with crosses and bearings, two flanges-forks and movable splined joint made in form of splined bushing and splined shaft with seal in form of telescopic guard. Flanges-forks are provided with central hole, crosses of joints are made with two corner grease fittings arranged at angle of 180° relative to each other, and movable splined joint is provided with safety valve installed on splined bushing. ^ EFFECT: increased service life of splined joint, propeller shaft members, bearing units of mated sets, reduced labor input at servicing. ^ 3 dwg |
