PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device of a liquid crystal display apparatus controlling stable display driving without depending on an external clock. SOLUTION: The invention discloses the display control device 20 to which an image data E-DATA with the external clock E-CLK is supplied and which supplies a timing control signal for controlling drive timing to a data driver DD and a gate driver GD of a liquid crystal panel 10. The liquid crystal display apparatus comprises; an internal clock generation unit OSC for generating an internal clock I-CLK without depending on the external clock E-CLK; a buffer memory 22 into which the supplied image data E-DATA is written by synchronizing with the external clock E-CLK; and a timing control unit 24 for generating the timing control signal which includes at least a voltage applying signal DVD for supplying the image data D-DATA which is written into the buffer memory 22 to the data driver DD by synchronizing with the internal clock I-CLK and for controlling applying timing to a data line of a data voltage corresponding to the image data D-DATA by the data driver DD and a gate clock C-CLK for controlling drive timing of a gate line by the gate driver GD.
