PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement structure of a face drainage material, which is excellent in strength, durability, etc., and which enables vertical and horizontal proper drainage by simple work in backside drainage of a retaining wall. SOLUTION: In this arrangement structure, a plurality of face drainage materials 1 are continuously arranged along the retaining wall 4. As shown in Fig 2., the face drainage material is equipped with a long strip-shaped face member 3 made of a synthetic resin, which has a continuous void by forming projections and depressions on a surface, and a permeable sheet 2 for covering the face member 3. In the face drainage material, an opening 10 is provided on the long side of the permeable sheet 2, and the permeable sheet 2 is elongated to the outside from at least either of the front side and backside of the opening 10. The face drainage materials 1 are juxtaposed in the state of making the openings 10 of the permeable sheets 2 butt against each other, and an elongated part 20 of the permeable sheet 2 is superposed on the permeable sheet 2 of the adjacent face drainage material 1.
