A connector to be mounted to a substrate having a plurality of substrate signal wires for transmitting signals and substrate grounding wires connected to ground comprises a plurality of signal terminals which correspond to the respective substrate signal wires. Each of the signal terminals comprises a signal core wire formed by linearly drawing a conductor, a core wire shield, a signal electrode, and a plurality of grounding electrodes. The core wire shield is formed of a conductor electrically insulated from the signal core wire and extends in the axial direction of the signal core wire so as to surround it. The signal electrode extends from the signal core wire and connects the signal core wire to the corresponding substrate signal wire. The grounding electrodes extend from the core wire shield, face each other with the signal electrode interposed therebetween, and connect the core wire shield to the substrate grounding wire. |
