PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color conversion coefficient calculating device and a color conversion coefficient calculation method capable of using a color prediction model as it is for precisely calculating the color conversion coefficient of a multidimensional table, when performing color conversion processing by using a one-dimensional table and the multidimensional one. SOLUTION: For a reference target device color signal corresponding to the address of a multidimensional LUT generated by a CMYK address grid generator 1, an input-side LUT is reversely applied at an input-side LUT inverse application section 2 for calculating an original target device color signal. An output device color signal calculator 3 calculates an original output device color signal nearly coinciding with the original target device color signal colorimetrically. An output-side LUT inverse application section 2 reversely applies an output-side LUT to the original output device color signal for calculating a reference output device color signal that becomes an output grid value corresponding to the address of the multidimensional LUT.
